Dead Lift

His physique is unreal,

Adam is chiseled from stone.

His ego drives him,

His serpentine gym buddies egg him on.

He cannot resist the challenge,

forbidden fruit in the garden.

He must impress Eve!

Add more weight.  Who needs a spotter?

The barbell crushes his larynx,

a punishment of biblical proportions.

His hubris could not be contained,

the original sin of man.
